I'm never completely sure what God is teaching me in life experiences because they seem so... unfinished. The learning never stops or results where I think it will. I cannot see the full picture, and just when I think I see the 'reason' for something, the lessons or direction changes. His reasons for the 'past' are not fully clear and hints for the future are unpredictable. Sometimes I wish I just had a little peek at what God was planning so I could feel more secure talking about what He is doing in my life. I feel uncomfortable sharing what He is teaching me or where He is leading me because from experience, I know it never ends where I think it will or pans out the way I thought it would. Sometimes I wish the future didn't always have to be a step of faith: I would like a concrete plan once in a while. I know what my heart wants to go. I know that God is teaching me.. but where is He leading? When a door closes, does that mean I have to wait for it to open again? Do I try something different? When will it be my turn to know?
Maybe I never will... But at least I'll learn to trust that He has a master plan. Maybe He knows my heart well enough to know that I love going off the beaten track on my own adventure with Him. If that's the case, what I need are the chances to take a step and the peace in my heart to follow without trying to figure things out on my own.
