No matter how hard you hold on to someone, it seems like eventually someone loses interest or goes a new direction. When I am isolated, I can remember:
Psalm 9:10
"Those who know your name will trust in you, for you, LORD, have never forsaken those who seek you."
Part two: When I am feeling misunderstood, I can rest in the knowledge that God knows all of my heart.
John 10:14
"I am the good shepherd; I know my own sheep, and they know me."
